MAARKAH produced by Runway Prestige in association with FTL Moda, welcomed over 600 guests at the elegant\u00a0Museum of the City of New York<\/a>, on September 9th and 10th, during\u00a0New York Fashion Week 2018 (NYFW)<\/a>.<\/span>\"\"<\/a>\"\"CEO and Executive Producer, Rabab Abdalla hosted both evenings, which highlighted rising Middle Eastern designers from across the globe and also debuted New York Fashion Weeks first all modest fashion event, \u201cNew York Modest Fashion Show,\u201d presented by MAARKHAH. This is MAARKAH\u2019s second year presenting at NYFW. After their very successful 2017 debut which left the audience in high anticipation for more, they were asked to return. They did not take the invitation lightly by any means. They showed up bigger and even more fabulous. It was pure Fashion Euphoria!<\/p>\n

September 9th, the show headlined with the breathtaking collection, ArAm Designs by Arwa Al-Ammari from Saudi Arabia; winner of international television reality show Fashion Star, followed by an array of sophisticated handcrafted couture designs from some of the most unique cultural designers in the industry including, Couturier Archana (Archana Kochhar) from India, Bereshift (Susy Fuccillo) from Italy, Commune Bonum from Italy, Eman Idil (Eman Idil Bare) from Somalia, FFLUMAE from Somalia, Laith (Jalila Nayil) from Saudi Arabia, Kaeem Sahl from Morocco, Cachet (Simran Theti) from Australia, Ziana Koutar from Morocco\/Belgium and Anne Couture from Russia.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>September 10th debuted New York Fashion Weeks first all modest wear lineup, New York Modest Fashion Show presented by MAARKAH. The show headlined with Louella, a fashion company designed by Ibtihaj Muhammad, an American sabre fencer, and 2016 Olympic medalist. In August 2016, she became the first American woman to compete in the Olympics in hijab and is also the first Muslim woman to win an Olympic medal for the United States. The lineup also included, Anna Konstantinova (Russia), Jacques LaGrange (South Africa), Wedada (Canada), and FTL Moda designer Fllume (Somalia). Eila Mel high profile fashion journalist also participated in the event, bringing some pizzaz to the Red Carpet with exclusive interviews. The evening ended with a fashion influencer panel, \u201cModesty in Fashion\u201d with special guest speakers, Ibtihaj Muhammad of Louella, Mariah Idrissi, British model and H&M\u2019s first Hijab Model, Amani Khatahtbeh of Muslim Girl Society & Culture (MuslimGirl.com), Arwa Almmari, winner of the 2016 international reality show Fashion Star and moderated by Saudi journalist, Jasmine Bager.<\/p>\n

The Poland Ambassador, wives of Saudi Arbia Ambassadors, Cameroon, Iran, Hassan El Neil, Arabian Oud Executive; Melanie of Haute Hijab; Audris Rijo; Heba Jay, Lifestyle Blogger; Mona Haydar; Nayonce; The Girl in the White Scarf; Rashee of MGS Accessories; Bia & Branca, Olympic Athletes; Fowza Alsaeed and Democratic District Leader for the 70th Assembly District, Cordell Cleare.<\/p>\n
